Biography

Tania is a postdoctoral research associate at the Crop Science Centre. She carried out her PhD studies with the University of Nottingham and Rothamsted Research Institute, where she was primarily based. Her PhD research focused on evaluating a potential biocontrol agent against “take-all” disease, which is caused by a devastating root-infecting pathogen of wheat. Her interest in root-microbe interactions led her to join Uta Paszkowski’s lab at the Crop Science Centre, where she will apply high-resolution and tissue-specific transcriptomics tools for the study of rice-mycorrhizal interactions.
