Biography/Research Overview

I will be working in collaboration with the environmental plant physiology and molecular physiology groups led respectively by Dr Johannes Kromdijk and Prof. Julian Hibberd to improve the genetic of photosynthesis, quality and yield in the orphan crop and model species for C4 photosynthesis Gynandropsis (Cleome) gynandra.

 

Previous positions

2019-2023  PhD student in wheat breadmaking quality and breeding for nitrogen use efficiency, Rothamsted Research, Harpenden.

2018-2019  Research Assistant in Sugar beet breeding, KWS SAAT SE, Einbeck, Germany.

2018  Masters internship in wheat breeding for beneficial interactions with rhizophere bacteria, INRAe, Clermont-Ferrand, France.

2017  Masters internship in molecular biology on Arabidopsis thaliana, Institut Jean-Pierre Bourgin, Versailles, France.

 

Qualifications

2023  PhD in crop science, University of Reading, Reading.

2018  MSc. in plant ecophysiology and breeding, University of Clermont-Auvergne, Clermont-Ferrand, France.

2017  Engineer degree in agronomy and food industry, ISARA-Lyon, Lyon, France.
