Synthetic Biology for Engineering Plant Growth Group
Biography
I am developing innovative approaches for recombinant protein production using the model liverwort plant Marchantia polymorpha. The objectives of my project are:
1. To develop hyper-expressing transgenic plant lines.
2. To establish a reliable and robust platform for transitioning from the initial gene of interest to a purified recombinant protein.
The ultimate goal is to enable the production of recombinant proteins at a significantly reduced cost to those currently produced.
