Biography
Since completing a spur of the moment intensive secretarial course Fiona has worked as an executive level assistant for over twenty-five years, with positions at a prestigious publisher in Bloomsbury (Thames & Hudson Ltd) and a leading disability charity (Papworth Trust) before starting her first job at the University of Cambridge in September 2020.
Fiona worked as the Executive Assistant to the Director of the MRC Toxicology Unit prior to joining Plant Sciences in September 2023. Whilst her work revolves around supporting Julian Hibberd and Catherine Butler, Fiona is delighted to be at Plant Sciences having graduated from the University of Southampton with a BSc (hons) in Biology – and very happily with a plant based final year project.
