Biography
Mphil in Biological Sciences student at the University of Cambridge, specializing in crop science. Research project focuses on pollinator attraction and floral scent analysis. The project analyzing volatile compounds in Vicia faba flowers to identify key components that enhance pollinator attraction. By combining GC-MS analysis and bumblebee behavioral studies, I aim to contribute to the breeding of bean crops for optimal attractiveness to pollinators and yield enhancement.
With hands-on training in data handling, core statistics, Bulk RNA Seq and pollination ecology, I am passionate about integrating science and sustainable agriculture to enhance crop yield and biodiversity. My interests extend to Agronomy, IPM, Agro-ecology, climate smart Agriculture and exploring floral traits for pollinator attraction and conservation
