Biography

I am currently exploring cell-type specific transcriptome and translatome responses to combined chilling and high-light stress in maize. This study aims to uncover how mesophyll and bundle sheath cells individually respond to combined chilling and high-light stress by identifying differentially regulated genes and pathways in each cell type, and to determine which regulatory mechanisms underlie resilience or sensitivity to chilling-induced photoinhibition. This will also help refine candidate stress-responsive genes and provide insights into the regulatory networks that drive stress adaptation.
