Biography
I am an experienced microbiologist. I graduated with BSc (Hons) in Microbiology from the University of Aberystwyth, UK. After that I pursued a PhD in Biological Sciences from the University of Exeter, UK, where I studied effector proteins of Nosema ceranae, a microsporidian contributing to colony collapse disorder (CCD) in bees. Before joining the Platforms group at the Crop Science Centre, I worked as a research scientist for biotech companies in Cambridge, UK.
