Research overview
Yi provides lab management, oversees projects, trains students and researchers and supports research activities across the three ecology groups in the department. Current major projects include mapping of endangered tree species using drones to improve conservation management outcomes; monitoring of lakes and tracking seasonality of dissolved organic matter associated with Global Lake Ecological Observatory Network.
Teaching
Yi supervises Part II projects and helps with Ecology practicals.
