Biography
My PhD project focuses on identifying putative regulators of different stages of effector biogenesis in beet cyst nematodes, including candidate genes underlying effector modification and packaging in the dorsal and subventral gland cells. Before starting my PhD, I did a Part II project in the Plant-Parasite/Pathogen Interactions group, the aim of which was to identify variations in the beet cyst nematode resistance of a subset of a doubled haploid EMS mutagenised panel of Arabidopsis thaliana.
