Research Overview
My research focuses on the recovery of Andean orchid communities in regenerating tropical forests in Colombia. I am particularly interested in understanding how forest age, landscape context and plant functional traits shape orchid community recovery across elevational gradients, with the aim of informing tropical forest restoration, extinction risks and biodiversity conservation.
