Biography
I will be providing general support for the Patron Lab’s plant molecular engineering projects. I developed an initial interest in plants during my BSc in Genetics and Evolution at University Centre Shrewsbury, in which I completed a dissertation discussing whether or not the coevolutionary relationship between fig wasps and figs is truly mutualistic. Following my MSc in Quantitative Genetics and Genome Analysis at the University of Edinburgh, I spent over 2 years working as a Scientist at Hematogenix, where I strengthened my molecular laboratory skills through processing blood samples from cancer patients.
