Research Overview
I am pursuing an M.Sc. in Biology with a focus on Molecular Plant Sciences. My research interests center on understanding how abiotic factors influence plant physiology and contribute to improving plant resilience. I am currently conducting my master’s thesis work as a visiting student in the Kromdijk group, where my project aims to resolve cell-type-specific photosynthetic responses to chilling stress in maize. To achieve this, I use mechanical separation of mesophyll and bundle sheath cells to characterize their distinct transcriptomic profiles under chilling conditions.
