About
Jennifer McGaley is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Crop Science Centre as part of the Department of Plant Sciences, University of Cambridge.
Biography
Jen is a Post-Doctoral Research Associate in the Cereal Symbiosis Lab. She investigates the molecular mechanisms of arbuscular mycorrhizal symbiosis though genetic and microscopy approaches. As part of the ENSA project, she is applying this fundamental knowledge to maximise the 'mycorrhizal benefit' experienced by crop plants. Prior to this, she completed a PhD in the lab of Prof. Uta Paszkowski, University of Cambridge, studying nutrient exchange dynamics in arbuscular mycorrhizal symbioses.
