Research Overview
His research focuses on understanding how physiological, genetic, and environmental factors interact to determine crop performance under changing climates. His current work investigates stomatal regulation and stomatal patterning in drought-tolerant and drought-susceptible maize lines, with a particular interest in the molecular physiology of photosynthesis, water-use efficiency, environmental physiology, and climate resilience.
