Scholarships for postgraduate study are available from various University and College sources for exceptional students from all nationalities, but applications often have to be submitted by early December, or before for US applicants applying to the Gates Trust. You can find out more about funding sources here.


Prospective postgraduate students are required to apply through the University's Applicant Portal. For information on how to apply, including course entry requirements, deadlines and application fees, visit the Postgraduate Admissions website.
The group offers projects as part of the Cambridge Earth System Science NERC DTP. Full funding for these studentships is awarded competitively based on the applicant's qualifications and all UK residents are eligible. Students from EU countries who do not meet the criteria for UK residency are eligible for a fees-only award.  Overseas students interested in these projects can also apply to work on them but they need other sources of funding.
