Biography
Matthew Dorling is an old member of the group, having joined in 2000. He serves as laboratory manager, attempting to keep the lab functioning, clean and tidy, as well as maintaining a hold on the purse strings. He is often to be found in a greenhouse or other growth facility, and is estimated to have grown over 200 different species (with varying degrees of success) in his time in the department. He also superintends the Bee Behavioural Facility and helps to look after the bumblebees therein. He helps organise and run some first year practical classes (with the Teaching Lab staff) and also maintains the department's imaging equipment.
