Department of Plant Sciences Research Day 2013 brought thought provoking and enjoyable presentations by the heads of groups, ranging from computer modelling to ecology. The 2nd and 3rd year graduate students were asked to present posters on their research which they were able to discuss during the breaks and later, at the flip chart session. This is always a popular time when all researchers are able to talk informally about their work to interested colleagues over a celebratory end of the day drinks.
