Cambridge Partnership for Plant Sciences

CPPS exists to strengthen and integrate pure and applied research in plant sciences in and around Cambridge. We provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and to promote research opportunities between the academic arena, research institutes and local industry.

CPPS has the following overarching aims:

• Training, recruitment and developing career paths for plant scientists.
• Providing a technology pipeline for translating the basic plant science into practice.
• Raising profile of research, development and opportunities for plant sciences in the region.
• Developing partnerships for research proposals.
• Identifying future priorities for plants as food, fuel and other products.
